Roaming around for their weeklong royal tour in Bhutan and India, William and Kate were properly briefed by a tour guide as the couple entered the compound which houses the symbolic monument of love.
Prior to this royal visit to the Taj Mahal, about one dozen fully armed policemen explored the complex. The left section of the building was actually cordoned off. The couple traveled without their children Princess Charlotte and Prince George. They flew to Assam State of Northeast India to visit and explore the Kaziranga National Park. The park holds about two-thirds of the Indian one-horned rhinos and swamp deer which are close to becoming extinct. The couple then flew to Bhutan for two days for the invitation of King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk and the Queen of Bhutan Jetsun Pema before they fly black for their Taj Mahal visit. The royal couple has now returned home to London to spend time with their children.
